it worked just fine before the 2.40 update but now it does not work it reconizes it but it will not output or input any sounds so if u know how to fix this problem tell me plz.
odd, my brother uses his USB headset for his ps3 and works perfectly. try configuring in settings > accessories > audio device > and change it. by any chance are you using the Logitech PS2 headset?
i also have the logitech ps2 headset, have not tried it since 2.4 (was going to tonight) it works in the settings menu and in COD4 but it will not work in GTA online and MGS online (I can hear others but they cant hear me), I have no idea why these two games create problems maybe there is a setting in game I am missing but I thought I checked those
yea, 2.4 made the headsets not work for some strange reason, even though i have been utilizing the in-game xmb to message, i kinda regret being able to download it bcuz my headset doesn't work for warhawk, and i don't even have my warhawk trophies, and no in-game music, so basically i traded in-game messaging for no head set which i would rather have vice versa
my usb headset wont work anymore i had it working but it was messed up so i went back to the audio device settings and tried to switch it up and now for the imput device it says do not use and out put says system defualt device and i cant change any thing i cant change it back to usb headset what do i do?
