The last time I checked, the backwards compatability for the PS3 still needs tinkering in some area's. (I would know, I own a 60GB Model) With most of my PS1 games, the graphics are choppy and the sound effects go haywire. I'm hoping they'll fix the issue with PS1 games with an update, but I doubt that'll happen anytime soon. Unless there has been an update that's fixed my issue then someone please correct me, but as far as I know, the backwards compatability for the PS3 isn't in full swing yet.
Huh? what kind of post is tha t?Cronaroth
Good question... don't know what happened there. It was supposed to say something along the lines of "I would sell it if I could get a hundred bucks for the thing, but I guess it depends on your emotional attachment to the last generation."

The only PS1 games I've run on mine are MGS and Jeopardy (Don't. Ask.) and they both worked perfectly fine. Small sample size, obviously, but I thought I'd throw in my two cents. Oh, and FYI: I don't recommend spending 45 minutes with your girlfriend taking the Jeopardy qualification quiz on a late work night... they don't give you the effing answers!!!
