I heard a PSP Slim has tv out, what kind of tv will I need to play it with a PSP slim?

What specifications are needed?

My friend gave me a PSP Slim, I really don't like playing with a small screen.

the new psp 3000 (the ratchet and clank bundle) can hook up to ANY tv from what i hear. even using the composite cables. But the slim 2000 (god of war bundle, madden bundle, piano black etc) can only hook up to HDTVs (or at least progressive scan). and you have to use the component cables to play games, and the composite is only for movies. (cables are sold separately btw) Thats what i know.
