Thoughts on the Madden 2011 Demo

i thought it was pretty crappy...what do you guys think?

I thought it was terrible, it doesn't seem like they made any changes to madden 10. I did notice there were more cutscenes. I really hope EA loses its exclusive license to the NFL, so Sony can make a exclusive NFL game for the PS3.

it was okkk, i dont like the fumble recovery system, you have to mash buttons like a maniac, and i like the hot routes and audible controls from madden 09 much more, (didnt play madden 10)

I'm gonna wait for Madden 12. I heard that they are improving the franchise and superstar modes in that one.

Well the presentation is new as well as the features, but in terms of gameplay- it is very similar to 10

I feel like NCAA caught up to Madden in terms of gameplay this year and Madden decided to rest on its laurels.

I think this speaks for itself... I was the Colts obviously :lol:

Better presentation.

I like the option to have coaches call plays for you.

The new commentator seems like a jacka$$.

The new kicking is way better.

The sideline graphics are somewhat improved.

Glitchy cutscenes at times but prob just because it is a demo.

I think it is alot easier.

Graphics are the same.

Better highlight stick.

Don't lie to yourself. 10 had invisible ball and floating cup on sideline.

First of its only a demo, so calm down and dont be so cynical. Personally i havent bothered to try any of the previous Maddens this gen but after giving the demo a try, i have to say i like wat i saw. I LOVE the fact they got rid of the sprint button, that is going to make the game way better as it did in the NHL series. Looked great overall, i think the new announcer was good too ashe got excited when there was a big play and finally recievers are able to do a sideline catch. Overall i liked what i saw and i might buy it, i only buy the NHL series from EA but i will give Madden a chance this year.

Obama is in this game

Madden took a step back and NCAA took a giant leap forward! Now all they have to do is make RTG different ... I thought that was ridiculous that it's the exact same mode as 10... got the trophies and won't go back to it.
