My only problem is how im going to balance gaming between the two. So my question for those of you who have both is how do you balance gaming between both?

Exclusives go to whatever system theyre for.

Online only multiplats go to 360.

Single player only mutliplat go to PS3

It depends on how many of my Live friends are getting the game if its MP and SP multiplat, if not much of them are getting it then Ill pick it up for PS3, if most of my friends are getting it then Ill get it for 360.

Most of the time I play my 360 for the achievements(multiplatform games ). There are enough good exclusive games for the PS3 that I play a lot as well. Especially here lately as I just got Red Ring on my 360 and sent it off for repair. I think that the PS3 is a terrific system. You will not be disappointed if you get a PS3.

well.. since I got the PS3, I haven't touched the 360 (only to download movies so I can use up my micropoints) I sold the 360 version of COD4 and got the PS3 version.

I'm selling off my 360 within the next few months, since there really isnt any good exclusives in 2008.. maybe NGII, but I haven't even beat Sigma yet.

i get all multiplatform games on the 360, unless the PS3 version has a huge advantage (such as Unreal Tournament 3's early release and the ability to use mods in the PS3 version.)

Honestly I don't think about what system I am playing, I just play the games. Whether it be on Wii, PS3, PS2, 360, etc. if it is supposed to be fun I give it a try. As far as purchasing games, I usually try to find out what system it was developed for if it is multiplatform, for example if a game was created for the PS3 and ported to 360 I will get the PS3 version because typically they fare better, with fewer bugs.

For me-360-Exclusives PS3-Multiplats and Exclusives. It'd probably be multiplats for 360 but I don't really want to pay the 50 whenI can just go on the ps3 for online for almost the same experience.

Exclusives go to each respective system, obviously, but I get most multiplats on the PS3. I get most of them for the PS3 because I prefer the controller, I have confidence in the reliability of the PS3, and because I don't like having to pay for Live.

Both are great systems, but I would definitely consider the PS3 my primary system, and the 360 my secondary system. I may be in the minority, but that's how I do it.;)

360 is for Halo and certain sports games that I would rather play on Live.

Everything else is ps3. Especially multiplats. I have had 3 360s fail on me and would like to be able to play most of my games while my 360 is being fixed by microsoft.

I had my 360 first, so I play most online games on it because of my friends and family on my list. I use the PS3 for single player games at the moment.

But it's going to come down to exclusives to me, what ever system has a game the other doesn't, I'll probably be playing that console. And sometimes I go by what controller feels better on a certain game.

My delima is that I don't feel like paying for Live. If a game is online heavy I stay with PS3 online games cept few. Lately everything is default to PS3. I'll get games that are exclusive for 360. (I still have yet to pick up Mass Effect).

I usually buy most if not all sports games for the 360. Mutiplatforms I try to do 50/50, unless I hear that one version is better than the other, but I usually make my mind up and unless something big changes my mind then that's what I usually go off of

I'm like everyone else in that exclusives are a no-brainer. Multiplats I take on a case-by-case basis. I bought Assassin's Creed for the PS3, I bought Guitar Hero 3 for the 360. I just couldn't bring myself to have that dongle hanging from the front of my PS3. I'll probably get Burnout 3 for the PS3 since I'll want to play that online, but I don't want to pay to re-up my Xbox Live subscription to do it. I have a free month. but I'm saving that for later.

I get most of my multi-plats for PS3. Once in awhile I'll get the 360 version instead though if I think the achievements will actually make me play it more, such as collecting stuff in The Simpsons (I haven't actually looked at the achievements, I'm just assuming lol).

What i do is get thebest rated games one than the other.(ex. NBA2k8 runssmootherand fasteron 360 than ps3 technically)but main reason to have both systems is because of their own franchises.(ex. Final Fantasy-ps3/ Halo-xbox 360)

So im thinking about getting a ps3.

My only problem is how im going to balance gaming between the two. So my question for those of you who have both is how do you balance gaming between both?

ashunpnoy

The last game I played on my 360 was C&C, but it just wasn't the same as the PC version. I just recently sold my 360 with an extra controller and 3 games for $315. I just never played it anymore. I found it very hard to balance gaming between the 2. I also sold my Wii, so as you can tell having all 3 just didn't work out for me. If you can manage it though more power to you.

I got all three, however I spend most of my time on the 360 as that's the one all my friends play on. The Wii and PS3 are there for the exclusives, really.

Go with the PS3.... much better system and I have to agree the controller is a heck of a lot better.

With the PS3 you get:

Blue Ray Player (with 5 free movies until end of Jan.)

Free online gaming

WiFi connectivity

With the 360 you have to pay extra for all of them..... the only thing Sony screws you on is the HD cables

Right now I've been playing my 360 because of Bioshock which is an excellent game might I add. I've rented UT3 i'm still getting used to it saying that its fast pace is an understatement. The way I balance the two is by playing all ps3 exclusives and even multiplats on the ps3 unless the multiplat is largely greater on the 360. I'm more comfortable with the ps3 controller and rather over work my ps3 than the 360 due to the 360's fragile architechure and the fact the ps3 is built like a tank. I play all 360 exclusives on the 360.

Plus I'm really fond of my ps3 its so sexy.:P

I got my 360 a while ago and played it nonstop...until i got my ps3. but i usually get exclusives (Halo 3, BioShock, Mass Effect) on 360. But i leave multiplatform games for PS3..plus their exclusives (The Orange box, Need for Speed Carbon, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, COD4). 360 is amazing until you buy a PS3.

by the way if you can only have one go for ps3.

I'm a xbox 360 owner - will finally pick up a PS3 this week! I plan to use the PS3 for exlusives and for watching movies. The xbox 360 I will use for multiplatform titles (especially shooters because the 360 controller "feels" better while playing shooters). I am excited about the PS3 and I can't want to play Uncharted, Killzone 2 (loved the original on PS1)and Resistance. The main reason for my purchase is for MLB 08 the Show.

I tend to get all my multiplat games on my xbox (especially if my friends have it) apart from oblivion and games that huge.

Its not practical to own both, I think everyone should have a PS3/Wii or 360/Wii because the PS3 and 360 have many of the same games.

Just like my signature says, I play games and not consoles, even though I play my PS3 more. It is true that I like my PS3 more and I can enjoy it better with my girlfriend than the 360 because the 360 only focuses on the hardcore gamers who are all about gaming. I don't really need to balance out gaming between the two because I play what I feel like, and when I feel like it. So you got to decide for yourself, what do you want to play more right at this moment.
