the (offical) ps1 emulator is awesome

i was skeptical of playing ps1 games on my psp, seeing how must umd ports (final fantasy tactics, breath of fire 3, disgaea) have a load of lil loading annoyances (nothing too severe tho) but i just bought suikoden from the PSN thing today and it really surprised me on how well it was handled, and having a digital manual was a pretty sweet touch also. played perfectly and having suikoden in the palm of my hand where ever i go is beyond awesome.

ill need to get a bigger memory card cause i plan on buying many more games

For real. I have have Crash Warped, Spyro, MediEvil, and Castlevania Chronicles. All play well except for Spyro which stutters a bit when saving. No biggie. I wish they'd port more games to the PSP. I want to see Parasite Eve I and II, Silent Hill, Pac-Man World, and Jersey Devil on the PSN.Zohluff

its funny, i have suikoden 1 on my ps1 (little one with an LCD tv attached) and i havent played it in years

but like i said i bought it today for my psp, and ive been playin it all day

i got countless rare ps1 treasures that i cant get myself to play, yet i KNOW i would if i could play em on my psp

The biggest mistake, in my opinion, that Sony have done is putting Final Fantasy VII on the PlayStation Network for a download. Immagine how many people would download it, they would make a killing.

Multi disk games are not an issue as I'm playing the ps1 FF7 on my PSP right now. I'm on disk two.

Its in the firmware. Sony made it and it runs perfectly. Except on MGS1 cutscenes. They lag for some reason.
