I was about to make a thread like this. :P I haven't yet downloaded one because I am waiting, like you, to see if any of them are worth downloading. I hear the Sparta one is good, though I won't get it as "M" games are not allowed in my house, so I was thinking maybe Fieldrunners it sounds like fun. But it is possible I might end up getting WTF, since the $5 price tag is temporary, and the minis prices are permanant I believe. I only have just over $8 to spend, and it's hard to make up my mind what to do, lol.
Fieldrunners is alright---I have it on my ipod and it was much cheaper as well. It's a good tower defense game, but nothing really sets it apart from other tower defense games though. I thought the minis would be cheaper, but guess not...

Well according to Gamespot in a preview, Fieldrunners has had a "facelift", it is better looking on the PSP than the original. But I do agree, the prices should be lower. When I first heard of minis games coming to the PSP, I thought they would be some kind of free mini games, it's kind of expensive paying $5-10 for a small game.
I've heard there a bunches of modes, a replay thing, and the original. Not much, but I'd pay $10 for it. I love Tetris, and I don't actually have it anywhere else.
It's the EA version of Tetris. I played it on the iPhone, and it wasn't nearly as good as the older Nintendo versions. The motion controls weren't sensitive enough. People also complained about that iPhone version being too expesive. Maybe the PSP version is better, given that it doesn't use a touch screen. Maybe EA hasn't learned anything from their pricing problems with the Apple crowd, and still continue to think that people will pay a ridiculous price for a game with the name Tetris.
I got Tetris. Really, even though it's plain and little personality, it's still one of the best Tetris versions. Perfect for the PSP.
I like Tetris DS better only because of the Nintendo themes, but the Tetris Mini EA made is pretty awesome. The blocks and the way they disappear, react, and flash are all nice touches.
My only problem? It's $9.99. But I say it's worth it!
I got hero of sparta and fieldrunners. I really like fieldrunners as it is my first tower defense game, but its really hard. As for hero of sparta, its good but not as precise as I would like. It was first made for the iphone and you can tell. I move the analog stick and when I stop, he keeps going for a second. But its still good nonetheless.
For 6.99 each I think they are priced just a dollar too expensive. However they are great values and the 2 best minis at launch
I got Tetris (only £3.99 here :lol: ) and Vempire and for the price both seem like great little games. IMO better value than some of the DSiWare I've downloaded

If you have the money, Yes. But if you don't than just wait a couple years for an improved version, maybe PSPgo 2000 or more color choices and a price cut.
