*-Should I get into Fear series??-*

I heard its scary n etc.. Is it worth it ?

Well it depends. The first game is one of my all time favorite games. It had excellent single player, brilliant multiplayer and challenging instant action maps. The game to this day has some of the smartest enemy A.I in a game. Now the expansions are only on the 360 and PC. They included Extraction point and Perseus Mandate. Both were ok, Extraction continued the story of the first one a little bit, while PM had a new team.

They were good, but nothing special. Fear 2 is just mediocre at best. It is an ok shooter but nowhere near as good as the first one. As for scare factor, not really, but better than most. If you want scare factor look at Dead space. But you should at least rent the first fear for the intense action and Japanese horror inspired story. If you like that then I guess try the second one, there is a demo for fear 2 and its expansion on the PS store.

FEAR 2 scared the hell out of me personally. The gameplay and quality of the game were eh, but I still devoured it. I think you definitely should.

F.E.A.R. 2 had was very underrated, shame the multiplayer is empty,it was better than most made out :(.

IMO, my favorite F.E.A.R. games was the original. I recommend purchasing this game first, and skip F.E.A.R. files. The game was horrible and barely even followed the plot. So I recommend this game. It's certainly one of the scariest games out there on the next gen consoles.

I think the first F.E.A.R. was the scariest, IMO

I played part 2 it was a good game as I enjoyed it a lot.:)
