Just finished beating Shadow of The Colossus for the first time ( :/ ) I'm currently trying to get all trophies, but i just wanted to know if when you beat the game for the first time, and you save, is that save file automatically on hard mode? Or is it just on a normal difficulty new game? Thanks
New Game Plus only works for the difficulty you completed your previous playthrough with. So, since you completed on normal, no health upgrades or grip upgrades would carry over to hard mode. Sucks, I know but just how it is.
If you play again on normal, you'll carry over your stats from the previous game (I can't remember if you simply start a new game or have to load your old file though, sorry).
