resident evil 3 - playstation network

Resident Evil 3 was my favourite game as a kid, was just wondering if they have any intentions putting it in to the playstation store? Remember I'm in the UK store, so if it's already in the USA store then it's no good to me!

that depends, is it a ps1 game or a ps2 game? if its a ps2 game then the answer is no, if its a ps1 game then i don't know

would I be able to download it on an american account? and if so, what's the drawbacks?
