Replacing Laser for 40gb CECHG02?

I have a 40gb CECHG02. I just opened up and found a single laser (400a). Could I buy a 410aca laser alone and seat it on my 400a enclosure, or do I need to buy the whole 400a enclosure and laser? (I'd rather buy the 410aca because it's much cheaper).

It's a laser problem because games do work but fail most of the time. Games only work 1/10 times now. PSN and games off HDD work fine.

Yes, the stand alone laser is the KES-400A, the KES-400AAA is the KES-400A with a deck. You need to use the correct model for your PS3.
