I swear I had my hand near the fan of the PS3, and like not warm, but HOT heat was coming out of it >.> Does anyone else experience this or...what should i do? Could it be dust? :?

well, seeing as how heat is usually hot... :P

haha jk jk but uh if it bothers you that much, put a fan next to the fans. if its dust, you could try using compressed air to get it out, just be careful. i do that to my pc sometimes. and DONT OPEN UR PS3 cause i think it voids the warrantey

Yeah sometimes my PS3 churns a lot of heat but I think well if its going to meltdown its going to meltdown. Sony will replace it if my PS3 is defective hopefully.

I had my PS3 in the place in my TV stand where my PS1 and PS2 resided in all these years, and unfortunately it was too cramped for the PS3, which spouted extremely "hot heat" :D

So I put it on a bench next to my tv stand now, and it runs fine. My friends experienced the same thing.

I got better results standing my ps3 up for better ventilation. Hot air rises.

All my consoles are right next to an air conditioner, and when it needs to be on, its on.
