Do I need a memory card to save ps1 games onto my 20gig ps3? If so I cant find a memory card port anywhere on my ps3.

Under the games section you have to make a virtual memory card on the PS3 HDD right above your PS3 saves folder. If you want your old saves you need to get a USB adapter to get the saves on your hard drive.

to save your progress, listen to alpharedwolf; but no, the downloaded psone games are automatically stored onto the harddrive
