PSV:Should I get Wipeout 2048 if im not a fan of racing games?

Just wondering, considering it. Is it easy for new comers, never played any of the others. Thoughts?

Play the demo, I only have the demo but I might buy it, im NOT a fan of racing games but I love this game the shooting and sci fi feel makes me like it.

Try the demo first, if you like that then go ahead and get it.

If any game will convince you to try it, even if it is a genre you don't normally play, it may be this one. Like others have said, check out the demo from the store first and see if you would keep playing this one.

I don't like race games at all. Really love Wipeout though. It's a bit like a more mature version of Mario Kart, which i love too.

But yeah, play the demo and see if you like it.

It's an awesome racing / shooter game. It took me a while to get use to the controlling and speed ups, I recommend it to anyone, but it takes some time to get use to how to fly.

i have umvc3,rayman origins,uncharted GA and wipeout.Wipeout is the only title i feel like I will be playing a year from now.Get it asap!

I could never get into Wipeout (got it for free from the carepackage after the PSN outage). It's just too fast paced for me.
