PSP Sleep Mode Question

Is it safe to remove the UMD when psp is in sleep mode? I did so and everything was still fine, but it's wierd because as the psp functions like nothing happened.

well i'm asking just because i took my umd out to look at itand forgot i put it to sleep

It won't hurt the hardware, if that's what you're asking. And it shouldn't do anything to your saves if you weren't in the midst of a save or a load when you did it. I've taken the UMD out plenty of times after puting it to sleep and my 2000 is rollin' just fine.

Yes, why not. I believe it will be just fine, done it many times.

yep, it's fine. Technically you can switch out or remove UMDs even when you're on the main menu. The only time the UMD is active is when you're playing it.
