I'd go for Ps3, it was out for a shorter time then the Psp and imo, it has more games that attracts me. But then again, if you look for something you can bring around, the Psp is good value as well.
If money is not an issue go with ps3. Its a complete entertainment system. My lil bro bought a psp after I got my ps3 and he didn't like it and barely plays it compared to the ps3.
The psp is a great portable entertainment system, so if ur on the go alot, i think it is better to have that than an ipod if u don't have much music. Plus crisis core and god of war chains of Olympus and others are great games for the psp.
Ur choice portability or complete at home system with fantastic games and system in its early stage and will improve immensely in the next few years.
I don't wanna start system wars or anything, I prefer the ps3, but a x box 360 price drop is coming soon. This is just to help with ur decision, I don't have a 360 tho.
well if it was me i'd have a very tough time making that decision as both systems are of equal value to me and both could perform about the same tasks: music/video/game/online. If money is not an issue, the choice is clear, PS3 all the way. But in the end the psp has a richer game library, and it is very underrated, especially the rpg genre; it's trully a fantastic collection.

You can get a 360. Nothing wrong with that... I mean my friend made the same decision... Now he is dirt broke, paralyized from the waist down, his girlfriend left him for a chick, and his dog ran away. I'm not blaming his decision NOR am I trying to change your mind.. so you come in asking whether you should get a psp or ps3 and leave with the idea of a xbox 360 after no one suggested you get one... something stinks... it smells like a troll
PSP has some really good games. And its variety is becoming like the PS2's games. Crisis Core is amazing I'm glad I was able to play it. Now FFXIII: Agito it supposedly gonna look just as good as Crisis Core along with Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. FF: Dissidia is a fan service game but it already looks great. The Parasite Eve game I'm not sure about I guess I need to see more to make a decision.
