PS4 vs Xbox One

Which is better the x1 or the ps4, post what you think below. I seem to like the ps4 more but the x1 looks cool in ways.

PS4 is more powerful than X1. X1 has more multimedia functions and is better than PS4 in that regard. You don't have a paywall on PS4 if you want to use netflix or other apps. You can play for free on F2P games on PS4. PS+ gives you free games each month including online play with games each month. This month you get Borderlands 2 and Devil May Cry for the Ps3 for instance. X1 has more exclusives at the moment, but Sony has more exclusives and way more games in development. It depends on the games you want. Now you get Forza 5, Dead Rising, Crimson Dragon, Killer Instinct and Ryse. PS4 has Resogun, Contrast, Killzone Shadow Fall and Knack at the moment for example. These are not all games btw. In the end what are you looking for. Something you can play games on and watch TV, but has a paywall for everything else like online and all apps. Or do you want a gaming console with no paywall and the main function for it is gaming and gaming alone. It's up to you. I personally got the PS4 because i am a hardcore gamer. But i won't speak for you

It really is about a wash. The post above covers it pretty well (was weird seeing something sensible and unbiased after getting used to reading System Wars). PS4 has slightly faster hardware, so potential for better exclusives (multiplats are generally going to look and behave the same by design). Xbox is the more ambitious console in as far as what all it wants to do which will be meaningful if it manages to perfect any of it's goals (multi-input with kinect, multimedia, app environment), but it also means it has more chance to bungle things as it's trying to cover more bases than the PS4. Both are buggy right now and getting patched. UI's are about the same as far as actual functionality. Xbox is slightly more usable (has home, store, and pins which lets you create a customizable menu of items you actually care about). PS4 has Home and extra stuff and is much shinier (but also wastes a lot of space when you notice things like game info screens waste one side of the screen with a menu of options when all of the results of those options are shown on the other side of the SAME screen and you can scroll up and down either one - redundant)...

Controllers are both good. It'll basically come down to which feels better to you. The rumble trigger mechanic in the XB1 is really cool when put to use. The touchpad in the DS4 is a great idea, but really awkward in practice (just my opinion, your mileage may vary)...

Seriously, get the one that has the stuff you want to play now. They'll both be around for years, eventually you'll probably buy the other one as well when the prices come down...

Depends on the exclusives you prefer, but if you're referring to tech... then PC

But what exactly is this multimedia thing because you get Netflix on ps4 so what more do you get and I've just recieved the camera and it has all the voice commands id want and they work perfectly
