So I have a 3 yr old monitor that I like to use to game on. For my xbox I had a vga cable. My main question is what kind of cable I will now need for the PS4. By the way my monitor doesn't have an HDMI input, just a VGA and DVI.

Thanks

Sorry you are out of luck. PS4 is HDMI only.

Sounds like you'll need a HDMI to DVI converter. I don't have any experience using these with game consoles so hopefully someone who does can chime in if there are any special types necessary.

I would think something like this should work. [LINK]

You'll just need an HDMI to DVI adapter.
