PS3 red light

I really don't know what happend... I was playing and then my ps3 turned off I try restart it and i did that many times it just didn't work

I think the problem "system overheat"

if anyone solve this problem before please tell me what should i do?

You could probably take it somewhere to get it looked at to see what the problem is and if they can fix it they will for a price though.

Guys what does it mean when it just blinks red then i turned it on then it turns off after 10-15 min no yellow light just a blinking red 1??

Did you not give it plenty of ventilation like 1.5 ft of space around it without being enclosed? Did you keep the ventilations dust free?

Isn't the red light on the PS3 just mean that the power's off, not that it's dead?get-ka12

I think my ps3 is dead :cry:

what I have to do now is take out da HDD and backup my Save Data

First thing, remove the hdd and see if it will boot up to the XMB. I know from personal experiences that a dead hard drive can also be the cause. Azurathe
