PS3 problem

So... I have had my PS3 since around early 2010. It ran perfectly up until just recently. Games freezing within 15 minutes (every game I have popped in). I have had start up errors, and now PS3 games aren't starting up. I tried my blu ray movies and the movies run smooth as butter. I assumed the blu ray drive is dying but blu ray movies aren't affected. Anyone have an idea why I have these problems? I have done the safe mode route.

Well, try the games in other PS3s and verify the games are damaged and dirty.

It could be the GPU is going bad. It's tough to say for sure, but you may need to call Sony once you verify those games still operate normally in other PS3s.
