Anyway, I agree iTunes is awful though I havn't used it in a long time. Last time I used it the best you could get was 128kbps impossible to decrypt files, 128? No thanks! If you want that kind of music use SongBird, it's free, and not DRM protected.
*Uses SkreemR but gives you the ability to download the files, part of the mozilla project (unofficially) has lots of fantastic user created plug-ins, still in beta (0.4)*
P2P networks are alive and well in lots of college campuses. In fact, music isn't the only thing that gets "shared" among these lines. I uploaded my music from my iPod the other onto my PS3. It went smooth like butter.
