PS3 keeps restarting after quitting a game.

Today after finishing up with a few games on NHL 09 I decided to quit the game. Instead of usually going back to the start-up screen I get multiple beeps that notify me of it restarting itself and if I don't eject the game it loads the game back again automatically.

Any insights and opinions on this is appreciated.

turn of your ps3 completely and unplug it, plug it back in.

If that doesn't work. Stop playing the game and call Sony customers service.

The game force restarting your Ps3 is not a good thing.

this happens to me sometimes when leaving the socom beta.. i never really worried about it martelj2

Yes, this is a known issue in that beta. One of the reasons some people have stopped playing the beta until the issue has been resolved.
