PS3 Controller Stopped Working

My PS3 controller was working fine yesterday, but I came back from school and now it doesn't work.
I've tried the reset button, I've tried charging but nothing works.
The USB cable works fine because my other controller works with it.
The lights don't even come up, it just doesn't do anything.

Any help because I really don't want to spend £40 on another controller.

You listed all things that can be done so it's done for.

It just stopped working randomly. I bought it last year but don't have the receipt, can I get a refund or something on it? Can you also suggest me a link where I can buy Official Sony PS3 controllers from for cheap?dabest2500
