I have a nearly new Dualshock 3 about 3 months old, and it seems like it just will not charge now. I plug it in and nothing, and the battery is dead. I have tried several different cords and several different usb ports, any ideas?

If you didn't try that little reset button on the back of the controller. Press that. Next to L2 button

That would be bad news. I had a problem with a controller getting wet where it wouldnt turn on. It was sitting around for a while and it started working again except for the square button. It sat some more and that worked; I dunno what to tell you. Try the reset again with the system on and off. Plugged and unplugged. u know. I wouldn't give up

That sucks. was the your only controller? I had 4 at the time that that happened to mine. my controller sat around for weeks. I was surprised that it worked again. I returned all four of those controllers for 2 brand new Dualshok 3s.

Sounds like your battery has packed in (happened with my Ipod). If you're under warranty contact Sony, otherwise it may well be easier, and cheaper, to just buy a new one.
