the wii is facing the exact same problem(although the recently released wario has brought them back somewhat) and the 360 faced the problem when it released as well.

I don't know what you're talking about. I've got SIX different games and I'm enjoying all of them except Full Auto 2. (I've got Resistance, Madden, NHL2K7, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Blazing Angels, and Full Auto 2.) I only own 2 games I'm remotely fond of for that OTHER white box sitting in it's original retail box waiting to be sold to whatever schmuck I can get to take it off my hands.
jeez dude if you waited this long to get your PS3 i am sure you can wait several more months for the heavy hittin games to come out. Trust me they are coming.

VF5 isn't a good game, it is quite bad actually. Risistance= good, motorstorm/ renting to decide if I should purchase it or not. I generally don't own racing games but the demo was so fun. I am a bit disappointed with the reviews about game modes, so I will rent from gamefly and if it's really great then I will keep it.
The rest of march's lineup I either have for my other console or have no interest in. I want liar, I REALLY want heavenly sword esp after watching heroes on monday and seeing them play the game. We do need more exclusive games sooner and not later.
j know how you feel, i'm feeling the same thing, i've wasted money on cod3, fight night round 3, and then resistance fall of man. the only game that i liked out of those 3 where resistance, well i liked the others okay too but i don't want to spend my money on good games anymore, i want to spend it on really good games. when i say really good games i meant like metal gear solid, final fantasy, and gran turismo. but there ain't any yet, and i'm suffering from boredom.
pretty much the same thing happened with the 360, just be happy you had resistance at launch and didnt have to wait a year for that like you would have for gears of war....all though MGS4 is the real one you wouldve had to wait for.
also, people, i don't think sony or microsoft designed their consoles so that you would be occupied non-stop, i mean, you do have lives right???? I mean, if your THAT bored, go out and play some ball or something, a lot of great games are coming out, and motorstorm just did and its great fun.
Well the only great game i've been playing still is Resistance but even that is getting old. I'm working my way through the campaign on Superhuman now but its starting to get old really fast. The online is great but getting old too. I also have VF5 and Motorstorm but VF5 gets boring cause i don't really have any friends that play fighting games and motorstorm is fun to a certain extent. There needs to be more modes so friends can join me for some split screen play. Just not enough game modes in motorstorm and it feels incomplete without those game modes.
Will you guy's just relax and be patient the games are coming. To many people in here with that I want it now mentality. Good games take time to make, beside if you bought the PS3 at launch you should have know that the chance of a gaming drought would be high.
wow you people are impatiant i bought my ps3 today. i did it knowing feww games were out you know what i did to tide me over till some good games come out buy some awsome ps2 games. i hear god of war 2 is awsome.
Meh, I'm happy with Resistance and MotorStorm right now. I don't know why but I've been playing Burnout: Dominator for PS2 a lot, it's actually a pretty fun game. :D
there are alot of other great games out now, just because you don't like them or consider them great doesn't mean that they aren't. BTW it took another console which I won't name to get a great game, a year to get it.
When people usually say this (which there are a ton of posts about already) they don't mean great games, they mean HIGH PROFILE, HIGHLY ANTICIPATED, AAA TITLES etc games.
(also I don't know why everyone likes Bioshock so much, of course you may have played system shock, however you have to wait and see when it comes out. BTW Bioshock is coming for the PS3 you can mark my words on that.)
It would be impossiblw for the good games to come out now, cause they are in development and if they were released now, they would be crap. Have pacience.
Yeah I'm pretty sick myself, maybe because I ate a jar of pig feet, but dag gummit I want some games! R:FoM is the only game that I'm enjoying and thats pretty sad. I didn't buy VF5 becuase I want that on my 360, Motor Storm is pretty boring. Were waiting PS3!!!
Good games are already out. I'm enjoying Motorstorm, Resistance, Virtual Fighter 5, and Tekken 5 DR. What are you saying? My next game will be Oblivion and Heavenly Swords.
Every console goes through the game drought phase when it is first launched, the Xbox 360, the Wii, and the PS3. Also as some guy mentioned earlier, when the PS2 was first launched it was crap. Just be patient and play a 360 or something in the meanwhile. Unless you're a fanboy, in which case be bored and do nothing for a while. But eventually there will be games.
C'mon Sony, if you blow Killzone and MGS4, I will seriously not buy a PS M$ can bring out 10+ Great exclusive games you can do at least 5.

Just wait a while longer, think of the 360 fan boy, who keeps seeing one FPS/TPS after another and wonders about "verity."
another thing, why do people WHO DON"T HAVE the system decide whether or not they like a game.
Motorstorm is great, sure the REVIEWERs say what it does and doesn't have, but you can't make those words yours and say that's how it is. Yeah it may have 8-9 or whatever tracks (at present) but the game is fun and good, and online extends its life.

haha, same for me too! everytime i think of getting a 360, then i think of what games i wanna buy, i can only think of GeOW. The rest of the so called exclusives for the 360 either are average/good but not great, or they are just exclusives by default since it was the only next gen console out at the time. So i'm holding out now, seeing what's coming, yes even for the PS3, though lately i've been pretty hyped for it cuz PS3 in house games look so amazing.
