What really makes this NOT the official release date? You just have to pay $50 more to get more stuff. Really it isn't releasing early, the stand alone units are releasing late.
http://psvitaupdate.com/getvitaearly.php I wrote on this on my website actually. It comes with little deviants and a 4 GB memory card. Yet, you have to buy the 3G Vita. I imagine this is Sony's way of making up for the lesser sales they expect for the 3G model in the U.S.
Amazon.com, Toys R Us, GameStop, BestBuy, WalMart, and who knows where else are all offering pre-orders for the Vita bundle as described in case anyone's wondering where else (in the States anyways) might be offering the same bundle. I shopped around looking to see if any of the other locations might offer slightly different bundles, but nope. It seems to be the same bundle across the board.
Would have been nice if I'd known that before. I just pre-ordered the standard $250.00 wi-fi PSvita. Still as long as I have uncharted aybss. I'll be fine.
