Playstation 3 Role Playing Games

I am a huge fan of RPG games. I'm looking for a fun long lasting RPG to play that does not involve guns so no Valkyria Chronicles for me. I can't seem to find a good one though sadly. I have already played through and beaten Oblivion as much as I desired so well... I'd like some suggestions from you guys. What's a great RPG to play?

I don't think Enchanted Arms has guns. It's a pretty decent game.

Eternal Sonata is also pretty cool.

White Knight Chronicles, Demon's souls, and Tales of Vesperia, when they come out anyways.

Demon's souls comes out in October and doesn't involve guns.

I really really miss the good old PSX style rpg's... Turn based, random turn based combat with intricate magic systems... Can't find games like that anymore though. Which breaks me heart. :( Besides Oblivion and Fallout I can't find ANY RPG's on the PS3 worth playing.

I picked up Sacred 2 and really enjoying it. Tons of side quests which I can't seem to pass on so I've got about 15 hours in and only 7% of the map uncovered. Demon's Souls is the game I'm most excited about though.

after playing Oblivion, all other RPGs currently seem inferior. i am looking forward to Dragon Age Origins though.

I don't really like JRPG's, so I suggest inFamous or Fallout 3. And I can't wait for Dragon Age either.

Dragon Age and Demon Souls will both be amazing (I hope) I've played a bit of Demon Souls and will definitely be getting the NA version when it comes out.. Plus Dragon Age is coming from a well respected RPG game... As for right now that's out, I actually just started playing Sacred 2: Fallen Angel and even though it's definitely not the most polished game, it's still pretty addicting and fun... Definitely brings back nostalgic memories of Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance as well as Champions of Norrath

All the quest RPG's are on 360 at the moment. Half of those JRPG's are average at best. White Knight is supposed to come out early next year but so far I have only heard average things about that gameas well.Like others have said, either play Eternal Sonata or wait for Demon Souls and the other games. I think you are limiting yourself by not playing Valkyria though.
