Hey, I just bought a PS3 recently and I wanna start playing online here in the Philippines. However, it requires that I update the system and the person I bought it from told me to be careful about getting system updates because it might mess up the system. Is what he said true or is it just a load of BS?

Im a filipino and just wondering kung may problem ba pag nag online or multiplayer ako sa philippines?? like lagsand freezes? PLEASE REPLY cause im thinking of buying the slim model....... and the only thing that keeps me from buying that thing is the online multiplayer,, because I keep hearing people talk about that the network connection here is lousy so the game lags when playing online. Is that true? please reply!!!!! :)

Depends on your Internet's Speed, It'll be abit high if you play in American Servers, But It wont be that laggy, It wont Ruin your gameplay :P
