I have owned a 360 for almost a year and also have a wii. I play the xbox everyday and my wii has been collecting dust. I am now on the fence about wether or not to go ahead and add a ps3 to my collection. I am aware that Littlebig planet is coming out, but i want to know why should i get a ps3. I am more worried about the now as in what ps3 exclusive games have released that would justify my purchase, im not that crazy about buying dvd's either. I am however eager to go back and play some ps1 and ps2 stuff i missed. I am also in the dark about the PSN network and what it has to offer. Anyone have any thoughts on this one?

Well if you have a 360 that is giving you a reliable service (IE no RROD yet) then I would probably say there isn't much of a reason to get one unless you like the exclusives.

MGS 4 and Uncharted are great exclusives, but I've got no clue what you want.

Ive found a lot of ps3 exlusives to be inticing, the only thing now is psn. What does it offer? What is the potential functionality of it? What type of games can i download (i had the impression i could download ps1 games off of psn)?

In a nutshell, PSN lets you play games against other people with a PS3. And yes, you can download PS1 games from the PSN store.
