It is true that there are more RPGs on the 360 than PS3, but that doesn't mean that they're particularly good. I am mainly a RPG gamer (mostly JRPG, but really i'll play anything) so RPGs are very important to me, which is why i got the 360 in the first place. That being said, the RPGs out so far have been rather disapponting when compared to the PS2 (The best console for JRPGs)
Eternal Sonata looks beautiful, and the gameplay is fun (if not repetitive) but the story kills itself about halfway through. Lost Odyssey is quite average, the story is a bit 'meh' and the plot twists are obvious. It is also an incredibly flawed game, constantly freezing and glitching, with relatively long load times. Mass Effect is good, and besides some bugs i have no problem with it.
Besides Tales of Vesperia, there aren't any other RPGs on the 360 that i'm interested in. They all seem a little average, and if Lost Odyssey is anything to go by, I know i probably won't like them.
It is true that the PS3 lacks RPGs, and the future looks a little bleak, but so far Valkyria Chronicles is the best RPG i've played in this current console generation, so maybe it will be quality over quantity on the PS3. That being said, if you want lots and lots of great RPGs right now, get a PS2.
