No Man's Sky

I have been poking around the site and in the coming soon games No Man's Sky is listed as releasing on September 30th. Thing is I haven't heard anything from Hello Games or Sean Murray. How reliable is this release date?

As reliable as a pair of paper underwear after eating an expired burrito.

Probably just a placeholder date for now. But if it does come out on that date then Elite Dangerous is done.

This game is not going to come out this soon, I can see this being a mid to late 2016 release

@Chris_53: This is NOT a 2016 game. I have the issue of Game Informer where they specifically state it will come out in 2015.

@kip_case I am not sure if that means much though. How recent is the magazine issue?:
