That "E" is the mathimatical simbol for sigma, also represents sum in statistical calculations and physics. I am fairly sure it's also a greek alphabet but i might be off on that one, i doubt it though. So the E is very appropriate, and it looks cool too, especially to those who know what it means.

Yeah, it's the Greek letter Sigma (Greek equivalent of "S".)
