Was thinking of getting this game for PS3.

I've played the 360 version and it performs quite well after all the patches. Very little frame rate issues and problems with freezing. I assume it's fine on PS3 now as well?

I played it after the mega-patch came out and it was satisfactory.  Frame rate was slightly better than Fallout 3 though certainly not great.  I think I only had the frame rate drop to 1 fps on one occasion and had to restart.  There were a variety of small bugs here and there but nothing that someone familiar with Bethesda games would find surprising or especially annoying.  Only glitch I ran into was way at the end when something got screwed up and I couldn't pick up any health packs or ammo.  And I really needed some since I was in the middle of the big climactic battle.  Had to re-start that section 4 or 5 times and then it finally worked right.

Other than that it's perfectly playable and enjoyable.

It gets more problematic once your save file size increases. Some areas such as the Strip have common frame rate issues. The experience should be fine for the most part, though.

After the patch, it runs decently enough. Nothing game breaking occured on my playthrough. Although I personally like Fallout 3 better.

Thanks for the input. Got the game a couple days ago and it is running very well, better than the 360 version which surprised me. Looks better too.
