Again it just sounds like gears turning inside, doesnt sound like its bad, just wanted to make sure and it is low volume.digitalman42Yes there is a very low volume
@Myzz617 - that doesn't sound like a good sign - when has it started to do this, was it after a firmware update?koneki1Nope, started happening about a week ago. Actually i did update firmware 2weeks ago. It reads discs 75% of the time but if i power on PS3 and let it sit it does nothing-i eject disc-re-insert takes about 20-30 secs and then starts into game. I suspect the drive is on its way out.
