can you tell me waht is different between the 40 gig and 80 gig models besides the difference in memory and im not talking about the mgs4 model. Also to all new models come with dualshock 3 now? thanks
The main differences are in the features. The 80 GB has memory card slots under the front flap, 4 USB ports and PS2 backward compatibility thanks to software emulation. The 40 GB has no card slots or PS2 BC and only 2 USB slots. The 40's currently on shelves still have the original SixAxis in them, I think. The supply of the 40 s running thin as they plan to replace it with a more basic 80 GB with the same functionality as the 40 (in other words, putting the larger drive into the 40 GB system).

That it the current 80 GB. For the thread creator, are you talking about the new 80 GB coming out, or the current one, because this guy has it right.
