Need a better PS3 controller for FPS... Giotech HF-2?

Ok, i'm not looking to start a system warz battle, but i feel the Dual Shock is just not as good as people think it is. Trigger placement is terrible, overall layout is last gen... it just makes some games unplayable IMO.

It's okay, it's just that the controller was designed before there ever was a FPS. And I can't play any FPS on that thing.

SO. What 3rd party controller is better? I'm thinking of picking up the Gioteck HF-2, and want to know if anyone has tried it. It's blootoof, so that means it should work fine (and without lag).

The bumpers are used for firing in pretty much all shooters. While they aren't as good as the Xbox triggers they are still better than L2/R2 on the Dualshock. The sticks are MUCH more accurate than anything you will find on a third party controller and the buttons are extremely responsive. My thoughts? Get used to the Dualshock. I used to hate it. Now I hardly notice I'm using it.

In short... No third party controller is better.

I'm used to the DS just fine, I just don't prefer it for FPS. Oddly, I prefer it for any 3rd person or platformer games, because all my PS2 gaming.

It works fine you just have to get used to it. All the 3rd party controllers are garbage.

The Dualshock 3 works ine for me, just get used to it.

Don't think people are getting it... i'm used to it just fine. Blame Sly, Jak & Daxter, and Ratchet and Clank for that. Been used to it for 10 years.

I just don't like it. I guess what i'm asking for is a review on the HF-2. It has swappable trigger/bumpers. This seems like a GREAT idea.
