I have one of the original backwards compatible PS3's and I upgraded my hard drive from 60 GB to 320 GB. The thing is that I don't know what to put on it, can anyone give me some suggestions?

You can store all of your media on your PS3 just like on your PC.Pics, music, videos, games. You know the drill.Fill it up man.
So when you were upgrading your PS3 (I did the same), you never thought to yourself "why am I doing this?". You went out, bought a new hard drive, did the research on how to upgrade it, did the whole thing and never had any reason to do so?
As a man, I salute you.
And as for putting your blu rays on it, you might want to keep them on the discs. Blu Ray media is cool because it holds so much stuff. Transfering it to a hard drive is backwards thinking.
Here's an idea: get some games! Lots of them! 280 gigs more of them than you could have had before!
Just an idea. I was thinking. You know.
lol yeah, perfect place to hide it! Aside from that, download demo's, trailers, games from the PSN!Porn.

This has to be the most silly and pointless thread I've seen in a long time. I've seen people ask loads of silly questions before.... "What game should I get?" "How do you turn PS3 off??" "Does the PS3 fan always turn on?" etc.. But I've NEVER seen someone ask, "What should I put on my HDD?" That's basically like buying a new house, then going to your neighbors and saying, "Hey, my house is empty, what should I put inside of it?" :| :| :| :| x 10RotaryRX7
haha, well put made be laugh when i read the last line :P
