My PS3's disc drive will not read anything anymore! Not any games, CD's, or Blurays. It happened when I was playing Fallout 3 and the game suddenly froze. I have had games freeze on me before, and usually all I do is just turn off the console with the touch power button. I did that, but this time unfortunately the PS3 was unable to turn itself off. I waited for an hour until finally I pulled to plug on it. Afterwards, everything worked fine on the PS3 except one big problem...it wouldn't read any discs anymore! So, does this sound to you more like the piece of hardware has gone and I need a new Bluray drive, or did the system just glitch out?
Any ideas or solutions on this are much appreciated, thanks!
