my ps3 keeps disconnecting from psn what should i tell my isp?

i have this problem for 4 days and no 1 knows whats wrong or how to fix it so im going to ring my isp in the morning and see what the poroblem could be. what should i sya to them?

i cant ring up and say my ps3 wont connect to ps nbecause they wont know what to say since they mainly support pc internet. how should i word it so they may be able to help me

do you have media sharing turned off? if not turn it off and see what happens.

It's somewhere in your PS3's system settings. Just look through the settings having to do with network - then Disable Media Sharing.

come on guys how come is that whenever someone has a problem with the ps3 media sharing is blamed??

i have had that setting off for months because it caused problems with 900 other ps3 problems.

any chance someone could answer my question?

We answered your question. That worked for us. What error are you getting? Google your error. Thats what I did to fix mine.

Are you connected via a router? Is your router working fine with everything?

Perhaps it is the wall connected the router is sending the signal to...>PS3.

It could be so many problems. Try Cable>Modem>PS3.

i had this same problem today and everytime id get kicked from the psn my computer would get kicked from the internet. i disabled media sharing and now its working great.

error 80028ed4. i have googled it a few times and have found topics but no solution other than the good old media sharing, seems to be more of a recient problem

The thing i do is that the router i have goes to the laptop & the ps3. i disable online on the ps3, then the laptop thats connected i go to the network connections and i get the ip dns and other info. i take a screenshot then i disconnect the laptop. i go to the ps3 and i do the whole connection and i manually put the ip dns, and other info. sounds quite long, but its fast now lol.

Well I can attest to the fact that if you turn media sharing off, the problem should be fixed. I had that same issue until someone told me to turn of media sharing. No issues since!!!

go to currys or pc worlds and tell them the problem with it then or go on the internet and tipe in the problem go on this or just go on sony website or somting like that
