i was playing it for about 3 hours on sunday...and afterwards i turned it off and went to do other things...hours later i came back and turned it on...but nothing would show up on the screen...=( i dunno whats wrong with it...any ideas...?
Thats why the warranty is here. You either go to the gamestore if you bought the warranty for it or you call Sony and ask them to send another one for you.
i've done everything possible...i remember that the coolin fan was like...pretty loud? right? but now...when i turn it on...i can barely hear it...>_sosoweird
did you turn it of using the button on the back? cause that can fry the circets. Might have been a power surge in the electrical network too. This is something that can happen under lightning storms or when big factorys starts and stops their production and has a wide effect across 10s of km.
i shutted it off using that ps button on the remote...i never used the back button ever since i got it...which was like a week and a half ago...but i just called sony and they told me to they're gonna send me a new one...=/...oh well thanx for all the tips...

Well, thats good. I think your just one of the unlucky ones, we should be realy happy that there has been so few problems with the PS3. 5 months after the 360 launch the board was flooded with threads about 360's dying and the red ring of death:P

You checked the input (I mean HDMI, Component 1 or 2 etc)? Try changing it

this happen 2 me....all i did was switch 2 a different outlet and the ps3 work back 2 normal.
