Please. Their tourney will have a .00000000000000000000001% impact on PS3 console sales, if that. They know this and could care less about tossing out a contest. They have to give any PS3 owners here crazy enough to sign up for exclusive content something I suppose.
You know what does affect console sales more than a random contest from a gaming site? Good reviews of exclusive and multi-platform games, along with positive hardware analysis articles. This is especially true during the Christmas season when videogames sell the most.
In this area, this site is consistently anti-PS3 through and through IMHO. Not one multi-platform PS3 game has outscored the X-360. Every PS3 exclusive title reviewed here is among the lowest found at any review site. All feature articles of with comparisons to the X360 or exclusive commentary on the system alone has been chock full of PS3 hater-ade.
We know they despise the the PS3 in areas where it counts most on gaming site, so pardon me if I don't squeal like a schoolgirl because they throw out one bone with no meat on it. Agenda journalism is still alive and well.
