The Stimulus Map Pack wont cost me a thing. Why? Because I stopped playing MW2 months ago! I personally wouldn't put a single dime into that pile of trash!! BFBC 2 is the game MW 2 should have been...PERIOD!

Microsoft didn't pay.

They don't need to. Infinity Ward and Activision need them, not the other way around.

Guitar Hero/Call of Duty sell the most on Xbox. Of course they're going to cater to Microsoft to keep a good relationship, they both benefit. Microsoft gets early content, Activision gets their money.

While Call of Duty is played a lot on Playstation, PS players care more about their exclusives. Uncharted 2, Socom: Confrontation, etc. There's also StarHawk, Killzone 3, Socom 4, etc. to look forward too.

PS: Glad to see you had a different reason other than "OMG they're charging us $15! for 5 maps ($3 per map) instead of $10 for 3 maps! ($3.33 per map)"

$5.99 is really the only logical choice. Slightly over a dollar per map. That will get more buys...

they dont favor the 360, they favor money, and since they sell more copies of their games on the 360, theyll try to appeal to the 360 first to make more money. Plus M$ spent all the money they got from charging for online and spent it on the right to that DLC

I believe people still play MW2 because it makes them feel pro after a kill with pretty points. It's an unbalanced camp simulation at its core. Although I hear Bad Company 2 is getting the job done. Need to try it.
