Even though I was disappointed by MGS4 I would still pick it over KZ2. IMO MGS has the better story, characters, music and gameplay. As for KZ2 I have only played the demo so I can't really judge it to much. From what I experienced from the demo though outside of the very great graphics there was nothing special about just another generic FPS title.
Easy, MGS4, best game ever, KZ2 , I'm so sorry, but I so regret that i bought that game, it's so boring and I feel like shooting tomatoes , slow gameplay that wont let me enjoy the beatiful graphics, and I can continue... not a good game for me, but MGS4 is a true relic.
I would pick MGS4 because the story was leaps and bounds better than what KZ2 had to offer. The characters of MGS4 were much more likeable and relateable whereas the characters of KZ2 were just boring...similar to R2.
MGS4 easily. WTF? Metal Gear games have history behind it and is known to be one of the most influential games in gaming history and one of the most successful games ever created and designed by gaming god Hideo Kojima. Killzone has no history. In fact, the first killzone didn't perform well to begin with and the sales of the sequel are really really bad. With all do respect to killzone fans but come on, Killzone 2 has nothing on MGS4.
mgs4 is a better game but you cant play mgs4 single player for the rest of your life. cuz mgo is pretty bad. the game will collect dust. but killzone online will keep u goin.
lol joke right? anyway, I think MGS4 is the better overall game, but I'd rather play KZ2. I'm more into it's multiplayer and campaign, plus I really like FPS games, and KZ2 is great now since the controls have been fixed.
Its sad how some of you come bashing Killzone 2 when all you played is the demo. Like I say and repeat myself, The Killzone 2 demo is very different from the game.I hated the demo but the game itself is quite awesome. Now I have to say that both Killzone 2 and MGS4 are amazing games but they serve different purposes. For example:

Thats why you don't play a MGS title or most JRPGs.You can have a lot fun playing a super story driven game.
Not even close. I would go with MSG4 above all other games. It has far more replay value than Killzone and I love the online. Killzone is great online game but the single player is average and a chore to play through again.
Besides playing MGS4 is a sort of gaming experience that runs you through some really awesome game play moments.
Will God of War III look like the CG trailer from E3? Ok since God of War III as a game that pushes hardware to the max, I would assume that God of War III will also do that and provide amazing visuals. I expect it at least to be better than Killzone 2, but its a resonable expectation especially because of God of War's legacy as a game that goes above and beyond!

Probably killzone 2 even though mgs4 was the best game I've ever played. Problem is i played it once and haven't touched it much after. The online was forgetable and I think killzone 2 has more replay value.

For me neither. I really liked MGS4 & Killzone 2. But, hadn't MGS4 come with me PS3, I would have bought Killzone 2 anyways, but I might have stepped over MGS4 (would be some kind of mistake since it's very good though). I'd give a small edge to Killzone 2 because of the "pick up and play" aspect of the game. Whenever I want to play MGS4 I feel like I must have hours in front of me to really enjoy it.

I'd narrow it down to best single player experience. i give that to metal gear 4. MGO was horrible. Killzone 2 online is fun. BUT IF I HAD TO CHOOSE, putting aside multiplayer and just an overall value, METAL GEAR 4, despite it not having trophies.
they are both great games but overall i prefer MGS4 because i love the campaign and the massive storyline background plus the online is fun. i do like killzone online but there was just something about it that i couldn't put my finger on, i like resistance 2 better than killzone 2 for the campaign and online especially the coop
