I need to know that do u have to have played all metal gear games before plaing portable ops. Cuz I only played MGS 1 and now I think i will play MGS:PO

Also, could anyone tell what is NEW iin PO+. Is it just the expansion pack with a few new moves and missions etc or a NEW game?

is a stand alone expansion packs with new features but no storyline, just generic missions

Yes, I wouldn't even reccomend PO plus if you havent played through the original Portable ops yet.

you pretty much have to play mgs 3 in order to be completly sure whats going on in mgs:po.

Does that REALLY mean that I wont enjoy Portable Ops without having played MGS 3. Then its not worth buying is it?

I played PO without finishing MGS3 and was just fine. However, I never understand any of the MGS stories (yes, I'm stupid). I think MGS1 on PS was ok to follow, but now its just a mish mosh of everyone is good and everyone is bad at the same time so don't trust anyone unless you need to and you can't choose to trust or mistrust anyone because the game developer won't let you, so just play the game, shoot people, accomplish goals and have a good time. The games are great to play, but the stories are just getting annoying in my opinion. One of the best games for the PSP is MGSPO however, so definitely get it.

just read wikipedia, i finished PO and i fully understand the game (i read wikipedia article) or play MGS1

I had never played MGS before I bought MGS: PO, and it turned out to be one of my fav PSP games

I played PO without playing any other MGS game even once. Its actually not that difficult to understand.

MGS PO isa sequal to MGS 3. but i never played MGS 3 and i still enjoy MGS PO.

the Metal Gear series is a continuing story line going back and fourth through the times. to understand what the hell is going on in mgs:po u have to metal gear solid: snake eater for the ps2. if u really wanna know the whole story so far, i would play snake eater, portable ops, mgs 1 and mgs2 sons of liberty and in that exact order to follow and understand the storyline

I beat 2 metal gear solids ive never played the first one though but I just got plus im not sure if theres new charcters or not but you can be old snake (MGS4) raiden (MGS2) naked snake and bla bla not sure if its new but you can play with people from normal metal gear solid portable ops on portable ops plus plus more missions and stuff
