How can anyone playing the PS3 version be ready? Seriously, you've missed the best chapter of the trilogy, ME2 was garbage compared to the first game.

I played ME1 on PC and actually prefer ME2. ME1 was a mediocre shooter and a mediocre RPG. ME2 just discarded the pointless "RPG" (lol) elements of ME1 and evolved to a decent shooter. ME2 is the better game for me

Your opinion. I played ME2, loved it, and decided to get a 360 so I could play Mass Effect 1. Guess what? I hated it.

Back to the original post, I'm *almost* ready. I just have to replay the Lair of the Shadow Broker and Arrival DLC and then I'll be ready.

I liked ME2 alot better. I couldn't get into ME1. ME2 had me hooked from the start.

I own ME1-2 on PC. My character is exactly how I made them on the PC on my PS3. Also I personally think ME2 was way better than ME1. It took ME2 to make me even want to go back and finish ME1

It really is unfortunate they never released the first ME on the PS3.

I have my file ready. I play on the 360 and I'm excited for my character's story across all three games to conclude.

yep, ive got my renegade adept that has his squadmates do the riskier maneuvers and my paragon vanguard who wouldnt have her teammates do anything crazy that she wouldnt do herself ( :P ). my main is an infiltrator who is mostly in between in alignment. hes kind of my "me" character.

I think ME1 is slightly better, the retro 70's/80's style was more interesting

There are good things about both, but I agree with people who are saying the first is better. Overall, this is true.

I Played the first on 360 when it was released and the second on PS3. I just picked up both for PC and just started the first one the other day, making choices this time as I believe I would in real life, Ill get ME3 down the road when its on sale probably for PC so I can use saves for both games. Although most seem to think 2 is the better game, its still a shame they never released the first game for PS3

I'm lucky: before I heard they were making ME3 I was already playing a new game trying to get my team through the suicide mission. Still need to do this as man Shep though as someone died on that save file :(
