As far as I know, the only game being affected by version 3.0 is Uncharted.

I doubt a freezing problem is anything too serious, old sport.

My system freezes every now and then when I am playing Call of Duty 4 or Killzone online.

It just stinks.

I am sorry.

Would 'Firmware' have been more suitable?

EDIT: Is your system connected to the internet?

Well if you have a Wireless connection, or a means of connecting your PS3 using an ethernet cord, then you should connect your system itself to the internet.

However, if you do not have any means of connecting your system to the internet, it would be recommended to download the latest firmware (3.0) to a USB Drive or SD Card, depending if you have any or if your PS3 has the according slots.

I have never downloaded a firmware from the internet to an external drive, so I would not know how to do it exactly.

But to update your system, without using an internet connection with your PS3, you would download the latest firmware through the computer to a drive, which would be transferred to your PS3 system.

It was released just a few days ago, and man is it sexy!

The Friends List is a bit wierd, but they added a number of things to really make the PS3 its own, rather than looking like an upgraded version of the PSP XMB.
