Just Got Infamous 2 ( Infamous fan)

I just have infamous 2 today and i already putted around 2 hours ( taking a break now to write this and go to the gym, will be playing when i come back )

And i just have to say WOW

-The graphics are awesome for a sandbox game( gaming on a 47 led tv )

- The new Cole is way funnier than the original

-The new characters are interesting, HECK even ZACK IS BETTER!

- the powers are AWESOME :D

If you were worried about the 7.5 ( like i was ) let me tell you there is nothing to worry about this game is AAA ( 9) material, everything from sound to graphics to characters.

And its super fun to play, i m pretty much meeling everyone with the amp right now ( feels awesome) cant wait to get the electric tornado.

Seriously if you loved infamous 1 YOU HAVE TO GET THIS, if you like the assasins creed games YOU HAVE TO GET THIS, if you enjoy videogames YOU HAVE TO GET THIS.

I bought it yesterday & think I am pretty much near the end of this game. The game so far is better than the first but in my opinion is now "Amazing or awesome". I definitely like the new cast & like how they made Cole more.....REAL!

Edit: I will admit that some scenes (Chase scenes & others) are really fun.

I'm getting the game on Friday. I have both good and evil saves in the first game ready to go. And speaking of that, how does the import work anyway? Does it ask you to pick a save ala Bioware and then read the plot flags?

Agreed. I just love the characters way more than the original (i'm partly playing the game cuz of Kuo! haha). There seems to be more interactions between the characters - if it;s the emphasis of the cinematics or the way the characters actually acknowledge each other's past. The review just seems DEAD WRONG at this point. But who knows, the pacing might be a bit off later on in the game (I just put 5 hours into it). Love it so far, and I dont regret buying it one bit! The animation is awesome as well, solid mo-cap with ACTUAL facial animations this time (not the SLY cooper animation style where the facial animations were jerky/blocky). Everything is overhauled and feels great.

I'm tempted but I've pretty much always agreed with Gamespot's scores, so I'll hold off for a bit. Their complaints are pretty legitimate. I don't want to be constantly fighting enemies on my way to missions.

Gamespot in general gives PS3 exclusives a lower score ... I don't pay attention to their reviews on anything

The game looks fantastic to me, personally, and I will most likely eventually get it. However, you guys should stop treating Tom's review like it's meaningless. He brought up some legitimate complaints about the game, which other review sites failed to mention.

I'm playing the first one now. Almost finished with the Warren district. I'm loving it! I have already made up my mind to get 2 regardless of reviews.
