just got an hdtv =)

so i jsut got an hdtv couple days ago and i seen a huge difference with my ps3 i can actually read the text messages in gta4 lol

i played around with the settings on the ps3 n tv but i was wonderin what should i should change or change to, to get the best picture out of my tv and ps3 n btw i have a samsung LN32A450 thanks

Well, if it was a Sony TV, then it would probably have an option to go RGB full or something like that. I'm not sure if you can do the same for Samsung TVs, but I'd check just in case.hazelnutman

In display settings in the PS3 It's set limited as default try full if the screen went black then wait 30 seconds so it will get back limited as your TV doesn't support Then you can't use it I've used it with my PC monitor 2253BW 22InchSpy_106

I recently got the Samsung 32A550 great tv aswell

Im not sure if yours is 1080p...But there is a great forum that I went to, and saw the various settings for my tv. I used that as a template and messed around with the menus of the tv, from color, brightness everything..

Search AVS forums of google, it should be the first link.

Whatever you do, dont play on GAME MODE..It drains your tv life. You can get an equivalent picture by messing around with the settings.

ConGrats I got a 1080p Sony HDTV a few months back and havn't looked back.. Over xmas I plugged the PS3 into a 9 inch Colour CRT TV and boy was I glad when I got back home..

Although games like buzz and singstar where surprisingly playable as long as everybody got close enough to the TV..

full HD with full RPG is about the best thing that can happen to a Gamer ^^ To bad I haven't a surround-system so far, I think a good 5:1 or even 7:1 surround system would make another great difference ^^ Hopefully UHD gets popular soon and supported by the PS4, it would be awesome xD
