I havent had a PSP since the early days of the PsP1000 and i remember thebrowser being horrible.

I know that, but I was talking about things like your logon details for Gamespot, your login for an access point that requires an internet browser (which is my case), etc. In other words, passwords entered while in the browser don't get saved.^ Um, yea it does. You just create a network for it, and select it. :?

O, in that case, yea only your username
Although, i dont find it frustrating to type in your password over and over again
and some sites keep you signed in

If your username/password was a bunch of numbers, then I bet it would be frustrating to have to type it in every time since it's not so easy to memorize.Yes the PSP browser is garbage. The sites have been modified and some websites does not work with the PSP. There are no saved passwords and its a pain to type anything in.

Hell, at that point, your password might as well 1234. Same goes for the guy above me. xD
Um...the PSP browser isn't intended to be your primary internet source :/ It's damn smexy for when in the bathroom, out and about in town, what have you. But to judge it as your primary internet connection and your main source of the intetnet is kinda silly.
Silliness.
It's not as bad as some portable devices but it sucks compared to Iphone/Itouch.
But it is still the same browser as when it first came out, wish they would update it.
Does anyone know if the GO browser is better?

and Its pretty easy to type in numbers on the PSP..

Not if you use the password manager in something like Firefox. It stores it on your computer encrypted. If your username/password was a bunch of numbers, then I bet it would be frustrating to have to type it in every time since it's not so easy to memorize.[QUOTE="tjoeb123"][QUOTE="blacknight06"]

Actually, the point of a password is so other people can't log in as you and access your shh..
in other words, it verifies that it is you
So People who feel they don't need to log in over and over again set the website to remember their domain and password, because they're sure no one else has access to the device or PC

Well that's what I meant, it's not that hard for someone to steal your PSP, and with that have all your log-in information. A password is meant for you to know, and you only. If a device remembers it for you, then it basically ruins the point of a password. If you're too lazy to type it in, don't bother having one, or make it as easy as 1234.
And I just got my PSP yesterday, and the browser is pretty good in my opinion. Much better than most mobile phones. Also the one who said something about the iPhone, one of the main purposes of it is its web cabilities, so Apple used a lot of resources into the development of the browser, while the PSPs browser is going to be one of the least used features.
Interesting question, to me. I remember it for being a buggy turd and it's disappointing that Sony's basically done nothing to improve it over the years. Although now I want to test it out on my Go to see if it runs better than an older model....though I'm doubtful.LongZhiZi
Just test it then? Why debate something that takes like 20 seconds to do?
Hey people
IF YOU WANT TO TYPE THINGS EASIER, PRESS SELECT A FEW TIMES AT THE LETTER SCREEN
instead of nine boxes, you get the entire alphabet

If it's stolen, they still have no way of knowing your password
