Is the 40gb model ps3 worth buying need help

i was thinking of buying a ps3 but i waswondering what model to buy the 80 or the 40

40 GB has less memory but it costs less. 80 GB has more memory but costs more. The 80 GB has PS2 backwards compatiblilty while the 40 GB only has PS1 backwards compatibility. It is all up to how much money you are willing to spend and if you want to play PS2 games on your PS3.

less memory ? you are just confusing him.
get the 40 gig if you don't want to play ps2 games and 80 gig if you want to try some ps2 games.
secondly the only difference is the storage space and the 40 gig version runs cooler and consumes less power.
